The information exists. It's just not yours yet.
As a student at Villanova's Business School, I'm lucky enough to have access to a Bloomberg Terminal and FactSet — the same tools professional fund managers use every single day. When I sat down at those machines, something clicked: the information that separates great investors from everyone else isn't magic. It's just expensive, and packaged for institutions, not people.
The everyday retail investor doesn't have that access. And every website that tries to bridge the gap is either paywalled, cluttered, or costs more than most people want to spend. That gap never made sense to me — the information exists, it's just not being shared with the people who need it most.
So I built Aperifi — one place where any retail investor can access clean, powerful research, portfolio tracking, and market context that professionals take for granted. And it's completely free. There are already too many barriers for the everyday investor. A subscription shouldn't be one more.
We're still in beta, and I'm building in the open. There are corners I haven't finished. But what's here works — and every piece of feedback comes straight to me. Through the feedback button or my email, I genuinely want to hear from you.
This isn't something I can accomplish alone. It's a mission, and it takes all of us. One day, retail investors will have the same capabilities as the institutionals. It starts now.
